Our Story

Founded in 2024, Ocean Waves aims to be a trusted name in the estate sale industry. Our journey began with a commitment to providing compassionate, efficient, and transparent services to individuals and families navigating the complexities of estate transitions. We are a husband and wife team, parents of two beautiful children (4 and 2), and Belmar locals. We have found a passion for simplifying the Estate Sale process and experience for others as the result of not experiencing the same for ourselves when we were left responsible for a loved one's estate. We're now mixing our love for networking, relationship building, marketing, DIY home remodeling, and thrifting by servicing you, our client. We can't wait to work with you! 

The Ocean Waves Experience

With Ocean Waves Estate Sales, you can be assured that all the details are accounted for. We are committed to providing end-to-end consultation, support, and execution during the process. We handle every aspect of this journey with precision and care. 

Initial Consultation: A consultation allows us the opportunity to talk with you about your current situation, goals for a sale, and timeline. Building trust and developing a mutually beneficial relationship is critical for a successful sale. During the consultation, we outline expectations, address questions, review the process, and take time to discuss what items you are looking to sell. 

Staging and Tagging: Leave the labor to us! Once you identify the items you want to keep, we handle the rest. We go into the home to stage and tag all items with prices that we work with you to determine. Partnering with our expert network, we will make sure to bring in the right people to identify appropriate prices for special items.

Marketing: You won't spend a second posting items on Facebook Marketplace or waiting for a stranger to meet you in a parking lot to buy a lamp! We use various marketing channels to advertise the sale and your items. 

The Finishing Touches: At the end of the sale, unsold items are donated or discarded based on the agreements made during consultation. Your home will be left with nothing else to do, allowing you to focus on moving forward to the next chapter!
